Current Empties- Products I've Used Up Recently

As you may have guessed this post is all the products I've used up in the last couple of months. First up is the LUSH ULTRABLAND CLEANSER. It took me longer than expected to use up this cleanser. It was their smaller tub which contained 45g of product. I mainly used this cleanser on days when I needed a more thorough cleanse (when I had a full face of make up on).

The cleanser is really a cleansing balm, which at first is quite thick and then as you rub it onto your face it dissolves slightly into a liquid. You then remove the remaining cleanser with a damp face cloth or with a muslin cloth.
I really liked this cleanser, I felt it definitey removed any trace of excess make up left on my face and it it left my face feeling fresh and cleansed.
Best thing about this cleanser is that it contains 100% natural ingredients and is cruelty free.
The only issue I have with this cleanser is the smell, not a huge fan of it! Other than that it's a good, affordable cleansing balm :)

The second product I have recently used up is the TRESEMME HEAT DEFENCE STYLING SPRAY (sorry there's no picture of this, I threw it out without thinking). I don't really have much to say about this product except that it smelt fresh, as far as I know it protected my hair from heat and the bottle (don't know if it's just my dodgy bottle) nearly drove me insane!
The spray nozzle would constantly get stuck and wouldn't spray and then it would decide to drip out all over my floor so needless to say I was happy when this product ran out!

The next product I've used up is the NO7 STAY PERFECT PRIMER. This is an oil free primer that feels smooth on the skin. I felt that this primer did help my make up to last better for longer and best of all it didn't block my pores.

The final product I used up is the SIMPLE EYE MAKE UP REMOVER. This was an affordable, gentle eye make up remover that done the job and never irritated my eyes like other make up removers have. I think I'll definitely be repurchasing this one!

So that's all the products I've used up recently, takes a lot longer than you think to fully use up products (which is good I guess).

Have you used up any of your products recently ?

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water

I picked up the garnier micellar cleansing water the other day in boots for €3.50 ( it was on sale) and I am super impressed so far.
I'm sure most people know at this stage that the miceller water acts as a type of magnet for make up and impurities, removing it from the skin without having to rub harshly.

It claims, unlike other cleansers, that it is an all-in-one cleanser that doesn't need to be removed with a toner or anything after. I was curious about this and did try a toner after just to see if it had removed all my make up. I did unfortunately notice that the toner had picked up traces of make up that was still left on my face.

I gotta say though, overall I'm thoroughly impressed, it's a very handy cleanser that doesn't irritate the skin. I would however recommend using a toner after just to make sure all of your make up is removed properly.

Easter is coming....

What better way to celebrate Easter than painting your nails with an Easter inspired nail varnish. This nail varnish is a part of models own specked egg nail varnish collection which has five colours (a lilac, a pink, a mustard yellow, a blue) and this gorgeous duck egg blue.

The nail varnishes cost €7.65 each and at the minute boots are doing a deal of two for €12 if your tempted in picking up a few shades. To be honest I'm probably gonna go back and get the pink shade!

My guilty pleasure - boohoo.com

Everytime I don't go out shopping I feel so proud that I'm not spending money but now I've found a seriously guilty pleasure of mine that's costing me money without even leaving the house...online shopping! My main addiction is the boohoo website. Over the past year I've ordered so much off this website, I feel like I have to share my love of it with you all! :)

Although it's costing me a fortune, every single item I order off this website is worth it! All the clothes fit me just perfect! I'm especially a fan of their dresses, they fit so nice (hugs all the right places!). They have such a lovely range of prints and they cater for all sizes. Here's some of my favourites.

Another weakness of mine is ordering their jumpers! They're so snug and come in so many different shapes, colours and materials. The prices aren't too bad either! Shipping is very reasonable and it's free shipping at orders over €25.

I did have one mix up with this website over Christmas when I ordered a dress which unfortunately became unavailable due to high demand. However the website was fantastic in dealing with this and gave me 30% off my next order plus a full refund.

I know this is a bit of a ramble but this website really is becoming a staple place for me to shop and I just wanted to share this gem with you all :)

This post was not sponsored, all opinions are completely my own.

Happy shopping :)

What I've Been Loving Lately

The first product I've been loving was featured in a recent blog post of mine. It's the body shops peppermint smoothing pumice foot scrub. This stuff is amazing! I've been trying to break in a new pair of shoes recently and my feet have been so sore. I felt like they needed a treat and this definitely did the job!
The smell is so fresh and minty and the product really does exfoliate your feet :)
One thing I really liked about this product was that it seemed to lather for me which I've never had from a scrub before.

The second product I've been loving also featured in a recent blog post of mine. It's the ArtDeco Dita Con Teese blush in shade 20. I've been wearing the blush nearly religiously since I've got it. It's such a lovely everyday shade, really natural and really subtle.

The third thing I've been loving are my new boots :) These adorable boots are not the most comfortable yet (still trying to break them in) but boy are they pretty!

Last but not least are these heels which i actually only bought yesterday but I felt I had to mention them. I got these in penneys for 18€ each. They are just superb value for money! They have a chunky heel and are actually pretty comfy to wear (although I haven't worn them out properly yet). These were such a bargain and I love the coral coloured ones! :)

What have you been loving lately ?

Weekend Shopping Haul

Over the weekend I decided to treat myself to a few goodies. I had a list of things I wanted but ended up getting nothing on my list and instead I bought a lot of stuff which I had no intentions of buying, does this ever happen to you ?

First up is Artdecos Dita Von Teese collection. I came across it in Debenhams and it was all half price so I couldn't resist picking up a few bits. I've already done a review raving about one of their blushes so when I saw that they were half price (€5.50) I picked up two more of them.

Both of the blushes I picked up were matte, one was a nice pale pink (shade 20) and the other a darker pink (shade 31). The textures of the blushes are so smooth and finely milled that they nearly feel creamy to touch.
The final thing from the collection I picked up is the candlelight powder which was reduced to €15.00. Similar to the blushes the powder is also very finely milled. It has light reflecting particles in it so it gives a lovely glow to the skin. I will do a proper review as soon as I've given it a good testing.

I also went to penneys and picked up a few of their frilly socks. These are so adorable and really cheap! A three pack of ankle socks was €3.50 and a normal sized two pack was €3.00.
I also picked up this lovely dream catcher necklace in Claire's accessories. This was only €5.99 and it also comes in gold.

These are the only two products I had on my list, something new from lush and something new from the body shop. From lush I decided to pick up their dry shampoo No Drought. I'm a huge fan of dry shampoo but I find that the aerosols irritate my scalp so I decided to give this one a go. It was €4.95 and as with all lush products this too is made from all natural ingredients.
From the body shop I picked up a sample size of their peppermint smoothing pumice foot scrub. It was €2.00 so I figured I would give it a try. The smell is so fresh and as you would assume it also smells like pepper mint :)

Finally I went to the Yankee candle store and decided to pick up this adorable glass bucket type holder for sample sized candles. I think this size of candle is great for trying a few scents before you decide on which big jar to buy. The sample sizes are €2.50 and the glass holder was €2.95.
